TOOLMAKER (BENCH WORK)

For mold/sheet metal repairs

Responsibilities
  • Maintenance of molds and repair of worn or damaged components.
  • Assembly and disassembly of molds.
  • Analysis of defects and identification of causes related to mold damage.
  • Collaboration with production departments to ensure the proper functioning of equipment.
  • The ideal candidate has several years of experience as a bench toolmaker.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of wire EDM, traditional lathes, and milling machines is considered a plus.
  • Proficiency in measuring tools (use, reading, and resetting).
  • Availability to work on two shifts (first and second).
  • Contract: Direct employment under the Metalworking National Collective Agreement (CCNL), with a salary based on experience.
  • Bonuses: Fixed, variable, and performance-based bonuses tied to achieving targets.

CNC Programming Technician

For Toolmaking Department

Responsibilities
  • Independently machining mechanical components based on technical drawings for the production or maintenance of tooling.
  • Programming CNC machines from scratch using Heidenhain/Fanuc language.
  • Operating 5-axis machines for chip removal processes.
  • Manufacturing welding fixtures.
  • Performing maintenance on fixtures.
  • Knowledge of programming in one or more systems, including Heidenhain/Fanuc and ISO language.
  • Experience as a CNC machining center programmer or in a similar role.
  • Ability to read mechanical drawings.
  • Knowledge of wire EDM.
  • Familiarity with measuring tools.
  • Availability to work on two shifts (first and second).
  • Several years of experience in toolmaking is preferred.
  • Contract: Direct employment under the Metalworking National Collective Agreement (CCNL), with a salary based on experience.

Investment package – Business Development Line

In recent months, our company has been working on the project “Modernization and Efficiency Improvement OLVAN S.P.A – Business Development Line”, funded by the Regional Program under the European Regional Development Fund 2021/2027 of Regione Lombardia PR ERDF 2021-2027. The project involves the purchase and commissioning of a new technologically advanced welding line, designed with an Industry 4.0 approach. This will enable OLVAN to acquire new production volumes while optimizing processes, reducing time and costs. Planned project amount: €970,000.00. Granted subsidy: €145,500.00 as a non-repayable grant and €824,500.00 as a 70% loan guaranteed by Regione Lombardia.
